Hagrid is a soft spot for all kind of creatures, especially the
most dangerous. He's about 12 ft tall and "at least five times as wide" as
a normal man. He has long tangles of bushy black hair and beard that hide most of
his face.
Hagrid lives in a small hut with a chimney on the Hogwarts
grounds with his dog Fang.
